Dr. Dwayne Griffin is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine. Dr. Griffin completed his medical training and residency at Michigan State University. He completed his fellowship training in Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine from the  University of Wisconsin.  Dr. Griffin is a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians and a member of the American Sleep Disorders Association. He is also an adjunct Professor with Michigan State University.

Practicing medicine for over 25 years, Dr. Griffin loves his work and helping his patients live healthy lives. When he is not working, Dr. Griffin enjoys tennis, biking, boating, and skiing.

Dr. Knitter is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Diseases and Sleep Medicine. Currently with over 20 years of experience, he relocated to Northern Michigan in 2007. He graduated from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia summa cum laude. His completed his medical training at the University Of Virginia School Of Medicine in Charlottesville, Virginia. Subsequent to this he did his Internship, Residency and was Chief Resident at the University of Virginia Affiliated Internal Medicine Residency program in Roanoke/Salem Virginia. He completed his fellowship training at the University of Virginia. Dr. Knitter is a Fellow in the College of Chest Physicians and a member of the American Association of Sleep Medicine. He is also an Adjunct Professor with Michigan State University.

Dr. Knitter's personal interests are the diagnosis and management of pulmonary and sleep disorders. During his most recent period of employment at James Madison University as the Team Physician for Athletics he cultivated his interest in respiratory disorders in elite athletes.

Nurse Practitioner Trudy Day has over 15 years clinical experience in sleep and pulmonary medicine.  After completing an undergraduate degree in nursing from Lake Superior State University, she earned a Master's of Science in Nursing in 1998 from Michigan State University.  She is a board certified Nurse Practitioner with a subspecialty in Geriatrics.  Also, she serves as a preceptor for graduate students in the Nurse Practitioner program at Michigan State University.

Clinical interests include: sleep apnea, insomnia, restless legs syndrome, narcolepsy, parasomnias, emphysema, and asthma.  Trudy sees patients in Petoskey and has satellite offices in St. Ignace, Gaylord, and Grayling. 

In her free time, Trudy enjoys fishing with her husband and showshoeing with her Brittany Spaniel.

Joshua Martin is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner who specializes in Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine.  He has been practicing as a DNP after being honorably discharged from the USAF as a Pararescueman.  Currently he works in the inpatient ICU setting as a Critical Care NP.  He obtained his Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Grand Valley State University in Michigan, and his Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) through Wilkes University in Pennsylvania.  He is also a Fellow in the Academy of Wilderness Medicine (FAWM) and has been published in the Wilderness and Environmental Medical Journal. 

He enjoys any outdoor pursuit, most notably kayaking and mountaineering which is also why he welcomes Travel Medicine patients who are in need of a medical consultation prior to travel abroad.
